Stoptrans - For how long you been working with Stoptrans?
Tiago Fonseca - I work here for 3 years now.

ST - For how long you been working at the traffic department and what position you had before?
TF - I've started my career at the fleet management and now I'm at the traffic department for 2 years.

ST - What are your main tasks in the department?
TF - I am responsible for the Spanish market and manager of some key clients. I am also in charge of some drivers management, planning the trips and ensuring that they receive all the instructions so that together we can maximize the fleet's profitability.

ST - And how is your typical day at work?
TF - There are no equal days because there's always has a different challenge. Sometimes it's complicated but that's what makes me like this job.

ST - What is the favorite part of the operational / planning work?
TF - For me it is the day-to-day challenges and the fantastic environment that we have in our department.

ST - And the most challenging?
TF - To deal with several personality types and get the best decisions. And also to stay calm when stress comes.

ST - You and Rita were elected "Team of the Month" in January and February. What do you think of this initiatives by the company?
TF - It is quite motivating and makes me try harder, doing my best to evolve daily.

ST - Does this job meet your expectations? And why?
TF - No doubt about it! I came from another business sector that had nothing to do with logistics and I have learned new things every single day.

ST - What was the most memorable experience you had in the company?
TF - I was elected "colleague of the year" at traffic department in 2016. It was a recognition from all my colleagues that it will stay in my heart forever.

ST - In your opinion what are the most important requirements to work as operational in Stoptrans?
TF - Stress resistance for sure!

Stoptrans - For how long you been working with Stoptrans?
Rita VerĂ­ssimo - I've been working in the company for 5 years.

ST - For how long you been working at the traffic department and what position you had before?
RV - I started my career in the accounting department but for a short time. I've been in traffic for 4 1/2 years.

ST - What are your main tasks in the department?
RV - I'm in charge for all the UK import loads, which is our main market, but also in the Benelux. I also manage drivers, giving them instructions, checking schedules, routes, etc. All this to ensure that the loads are collected and delivered in the right places and times. My goal is to have satisfied customers.

ST - And how is your typical day at work?
RV - There are no equal days and so each one ends up demanding something more or something different from me, it is a constant challenge. I usually check vehicle positions, times and routes in the morning. Then I look for loads to the trucks getting empty soon. I always try to plan in advance.

ST - What is the favorite part of the operational / planning work?
RV - I like everything in general, but I really like to deal with customers because we build relationships that intend to last for many years. We want to be the solution to the customer problems and it is very pleasant to feel that we are able to respond to what's requested daily.

ST - And the most challenging?
RV - To deal and withstand all the pressure and manage 30 different things simultaneously, having to decide which one is a priority.

ST - You and Tiago were elected "Team of the Month" in January and February. What do you think of this type of initiative by the company?
RV - I think these are fantastic initiatives to improve moral and motivate.

ST - Does this job meet your expectations? And why?
RV - Yes, because there are no equal days and I always learn new things each day.

ST - What was the most memorable experience you had in the company?
RV - I received an Oscar for the "Most Dedicated Employee" award. It will stay with me forever.

ST - In your opinion what are the most important requirements to work as operational in Stoptrans?
RV - Team spirit, the will and strength to sacrifice and be a little bit crazy!
